Braham-Barrett back for Robins
Cheltenham will be boosted by the availability of left-back Craig Braham-Barrett when they welcome York.
The former Macclesfield man was unable to start against Morecambe or Northampton after suffering a facial injury in the defeat to Rochdale which left him with a broken nose and some loose teeth.
Winger Jermaine McGlashan has an outside chance of featuring against the Minstermen after recovering quickly from a hamstring strain he picked up against Morecambe.
He will be assessed ahead of kick-off but experienced defender Steve Elliott, who picked up a slight medial knee ligament strain, has an outside chance of returning but is likely to target next weekend's FA Cup clash with Tamworth.
York midfielder Josh Carson is manager Nigel Worthington's only new injury doubt.
Carson was forced out of the 4-1 midweek win over Scunthorpe with an unspecified injury and could face a late fitness test.
Striker Ashley Chambers replaced Carson and is in contention for a start, while leading goalscorer Ryan Jarvis is expected to return after being rested in midweek. Defender David McGurk (hamstring) remains sidelined.
Skipper Chris Smith stepped off the bench on Tuesday night and is hoping to make his first league start since early September following a succession of back, hamstring and groin problems.
