Wycombe V Cheltenham at Adams Park - Match Preview

Pittman worry for Robins

Jon-Paul Pittman is unlikely to feature for Wycombe when they host Cheltenham.

The former Crawley forward rolled his ankle in training this week leaving his participation in the match, which sees the Chairboys attempt to bounce back from their last-gasp midweek loss, in real doubt.

That 2-1 defeat to Swindon, which came thanks to a goal four minutes into added time, was cruel on a Wycombe side who had taken the lead through Matt McClure, who will hope to keep his place despite taking a knock to the head.

Paris Cowan-Hall was not risked after limping off at half-time against Crewe last Saturday with a calf injury and he may come into contention to face Mark Yates' men.

Jermaine McGlashan is likely to miss out for Cheltenham.

The winger has a chance of featuring but he looks set to miss out with a hamstring injury and manager Mark Yates is not keen to risk him with back-to-back home games on the horizon.

Yates' side are on a three-game unbeaten run in Sky Bet League Two but suffered a shock FA Cup exit at the hands of non-League Tamworth last weekend.

And if Yates decides to ring the changes at Adams Park then the likes of Steve Elliott and Ashley Vincent may come into contention.
