Cheltenham boss Mark Yates has raided former club Kidderminster for defender Martin Riley. Riley, who began his career with Wolves, has signed a one-year contract at Whaddon Road and Yates is delighted to have secured his signature. "Martin has shown how desperate he is for this chance to get back into the Football League and that is massive for me," Yates told the club's official website. "He has great ability and I know what he can do. "He did a great job for me at Kidderminster, he's a good player and I'm expecting big things from him. Martin is a big strong lad who can play and will compliment the defenders we've got." Riley becomes the Robins 10th signing of the summer, but Yates is still hoping to add another striker to his ranks over the coming weeks. Yates added: "We're nearly there in terms of the squad but I'd like to sign a striker to finish things off. We'll wait and be patient like we have been all summer and hopefully something will come off before long."
