New boy Wade Fairhurst grabbed two goals on his debut to help a resurgent Hereford pull further clear of the relegation zone with a 3-0 win at Cheltenham.
The striker, on loan from Doncaster, gave the Bulls a 23rd-minute lead with a crisp finish in off the post following a neat lay off by Stuart Fleetwood.
Hereford doubled their advantage in the 51st minute when defender Janos Kovacs climbed to head a Kenny Lunt free kick into an empty net with keeper Scott Brown flailing helplessly in midair.
Fairhurst added a third in the last minute with a clinical finish from eight yards curled into the far corner.
The Robins had the best early chance when keeper Adam Bartlett kept out a near-post header from Wes Thomas.
Harry Pell impressed for the Bulls and drew a flying save from Scott Brown while the midfielder went even closer with a right foot shot that hit the post.
At the other end Wes Thomas spurned a chance from six yards while shortly after Bartlett could only manage to beat out a fiercely struck drive from Marlon Pack.
Bulls midfielder Joe Colbeck also tested Scott Brown late on with a stinging shot from 25 yards.
